Top 10: Perfect places to rest your cocktail
I know I am not the only one who likes a place to put your cocktail down while visiting. We make it a point to provide a place, to do just that, next to every seat when designing a space. It is so important that your space works for you rather than you working for your space. You will hear me say this a lot because this statement is so relevant in all aspects of design. This is just a tiny piece that makes a big difference in the way your space functions. This little table/ stool determines whether someone sits in a chair when you have company. People gravitate towards places where they are most comfortable. This little table/ stool is comfort. I know that sounds crazy but so much truth.
About the table/ stool... Depending on the space scale is super important. If it is a tight space, you need to select a piece that visually does not take up as much space. This means it has skinnier legs, a smaller top, or a reflective top. Another thing to consider is a piece with texture. This adds another dimension to your space. Or maybe you decide on a funky shape that is not like anything else in the room. This is one of those pieces that you can step out of the box if you are fearful of stepping out of the box in your home. These little tables add a lot of interest to your room.
